Gerald Adkins age 73 of Pioneer Village returned to his Heavenly Father on September 6, 2014. Mr. Adkins was a teacher for R.E.T.S. and a Navy veteran. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, David Adkins; daughter, Teresa Johnson; 4 grandchildren; brother, Michael Adkins; sister, Martha Adkins and a host of other family and friends. Cremation was chosen Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) in charge of arrangements. Obituary on www.subfuneralhome.com.
