Gibran was born on August 28, 2001, in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico. He was a brilliant, handsome, and extraordinarily talented young man, with his beautiful, gorgeous red hair that made him unforgettable. His life touched those around him in ways that will never be forgotten.
Gibran had a remarkable gift for languages. He spoke Spanish, English, and Japanese, and one of his greatest dreams was to someday live in Japan. His curiosity, intelligence, and love for Japanese culture were a beautiful part of who he was.
He was talented in so many ways. He could draw with extraordinary finesse and had a natural ability to work with cars. He was someone who could create, understand, and figure things out with his own hands and his own mind. His talents were many, but what made him truly special was simply who he was.
Gibran also had a very special love for his cat, MJ, who adored him and misses him deeply.
To his mother, Fabiola Lopez de Llergo, Gibran was so much more than a son. He was her motivation, the light in her eyes, and her everything. She remembers falling completely in love with him the very first moment she held him in her arms.
His father, Donald Lashley, shared a deeply loving and special bond with Gibran. His father was one of Gibran’s greatest supports, always there for him and believing in him. But Gibran was also a tremendous source of support and care for his father. He looked after him, stood by him, and was there for him with a love that went far beyond words. They cared for and supported one another in a way that made their bond truly special.
There are no words large enough to describe the emptiness his absence has left behind. His parents will carry this unimaginable loss with them every day. There is not a second when they do not think of him. The love between parents and their child does not end with death. It continues beyond time, beyond distance, and beyond this life.
Gibran will be missed more than words can ever express. His parents will carry his memory, his beautiful red hair, his smile, his talents, his dreams, his kindness, and his love in their hearts forever.
Gibran, you were the most perfect baby we could have ever dreamed of. Your mother fell in love with you the moment she first held you in her arms, and your father loved you with all his heart. You were his support, his care, and his strength, just as he was yours. You were deeply loved, and you will always be our son.
We will miss you every day, in every moment, until the day we are together with you again. Until then, we will carry you with us in everything we do and love you beyond words, beyond time, and forever.
You will be missed forever, Gibran.
You will be loved forever.
You will never be forgotten.
