Gregory "Greg" Lee Moore

Mr. Gregory “Greg” Moore, age 73, of Shepherdsville, Ky returned to his Heavenly father on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Greg was born in Louisville, KY on May 1, 1948, to the late Robert Nichols Moore and Peggy Ann “Laswell” Moore. Greg enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping, fishing, but most of all he loved his family.

Among those who preceded him in death are his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Linda “Stone” Moore of  53  years; his 2 daughters, Lucinda “Cindy” Downs, and Penny Moore; 5 grandchildren, Lindsay Rhodus (Jason), Lauren Gardner, Jessica Jones (Cody Heath), Cortney Jones (Matt Brown), Mark Jones (Traci Lanham); 13 great-grandchildren, Brennan, Zach, Harley, Parker, Maliyah, Hunter, Kindle, Tinsley, Holdan, Gabbi, Liam, Mark Jr, and Reagan; brother Terry Moore (Karen); along with nieces, nephews and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 14, 2021, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Bardstown Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
