Harold "Duck" Knapp

Harold “Duck” Knapp, 80 of Taylorsville, Kentucky passed away on July 30,2023 at Signature Healthcare of Spencer County with his family by his side. Duck was born November 23,1942 to the late Walter Thomas Knapp and Wynonia Pearl (Fidler) Knapp.

Duck was a farmer in Taylorsville, Kentucky and retired from General Electric having 37 years of service. He was an Army veteran and a Mason with over 50 years of service.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Walter and Wynonia and his son, Chris Knapp.

He leaves to cherish is memory, his loving wife Eleanor “Darlene” Knapp; daughter, Amiee McDonald and her husband Troy; and granddaughter, Madison McDonald; and many extended family and friends. 

The celebration of his life will be at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, 123 Winning Colors Dr., Mt. Washington, KY 40047 at 12pm on Friday, August 4,2023 with burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 4pm – 8pm and Friday from 9am until the service time at 12pm. Memorial donations in Duck's honor may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital.
