Mr. Baxter was preceded by his parents; wife, Cokie Marie Alvey Baxter; daughter, Vonda Baxter; and brothers, Jessie Baxter, Marvin Baxter.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Sandra Baxter, Jack Baxter, Marsha Baxter, Chris Baxter, Jason Baxter, Stevie Baxter, and Chris Harvey; grandchildren, Sierra, NewKirk, Stephanie and Conner; and brother, David Baxter and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 6:30pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 4:00pm until time of service.
