Howard J. Hill

Mr. Howard J. Hill, age 86, of Okolona, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Mr. Hill was born on July 25, 1928 in Louisville to the late Emmett and Maude Hill, he retired from the Container Corporation of America, was a member of the National Clock Association and the Louisville Dulcimer Society.

Among those who preceded him in death include his wife, Marie Hill.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Kenny Hill (Janet), Gene Hill (Nancy) and Tom Hill (Linda); grandchildren, Chuck, Jeremy (Lisa), Jody and Sarah; great grandchildren, Haley and Kasey; stepbrother, Garland Hill and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at Noon on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
