James "David" Miracle

Mr. James “David” Miracle, age 50, of Fairdale, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. David was born in Louisville, KY on June 30, 1971, to James Andrew Miracle and the late Maeola (Rountree) Miracle. David worked for Louisville Paving Company as a Traffic Control Operator, he loved wood working, raising chickens, traveling and game nights with the kids, because David was a big kid at heart.  He was a member of Mt. Zion Full Gospel Church and was involved with ministry with children most of his life; he was a Sunday school teacher, a youth leader, and a children's church director.

Among those who preceded him in death are his mother, and father-in-law, James Ray Fordyce.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 25 years Sandra “Fordyce” Miracle; his father, James Miracle (Mary); sister, Kimberly Lynn Smith (Dana); mother-in-law, Carol Fordyce; sister-in-law, Halia Baxter; 2 nieces, Elizabeth and Elaine Smith; 1 nephew, Wesley Baxter (Heather); 2 great nieces, Madison and Makenzie; along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Visitation will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021, from 1: 00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 10:00 am until time of service at 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Brookland Cemetery.
