Jeanie Ann "Hogg" McGaha

Ms. Jeanie Ann “Hogg” McGaha, age 68, of Shepherdsville, Ky passed away suddenly on Monday, January 27, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 28, 1956, to the late Eugene Hogg and Ruby (McCray) Hogg. Jeanie was a dedicated LPN working in hospitals and Home Health Care for many years, a loving and caring mother for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the parks, beaches, cooking, and history and playing on her phone. Jeanie will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter Beth McGaha who she cared and took care of diligently for 24 years. 

She is survived by her daughter Hope Green (Demario), son Joshua McGaha (Brandie), five grandchildren Ava Green, Isaiah Green, Elijah Green, Camron McGaha, Brayden Krombeen, one great-grandchild Greyson Taylor, sister Karen Cravens (Butch), brother Billy Hogg (Sonya), sister Susie Price (John), brother Tim Hogg (Tammy), along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). Visitation will be held on Sunday, February

2, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Cremation to follow.
