Jessie "Blackie" Reed Hill, Sr.

Mr. Jessie “Blackie” Reed Hill, Sr., age 88, of Hillview returned to his Heavenly Father on August 9, 2018. Mr. Hill was self-employed in auto sales. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a Baptist by faith. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Ernest and Mary (Dearing) Hill; son, Mark Hill, Sr.; granddaughter, Melissa Hill; and siblings, Charles, Virgil, Helen, James, Bill and John. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Jessie Hill, Jr., Tony Hill (Karen), Ernie Hill (Susan), Michelle Puckett (Tommy) and Laurie Sharp; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; former wife, Shirley Hill; and sister, Maggie Ford.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Thursday, August 16, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with cremation to follow.
