John Steven Bryant

Mr. John Steven Bryant, age 58, of Leitchfield, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, November 2, 2018. Mr. Bryant was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on November 6, 1959 to the late Ed and Gail Thornton Bryant. Mr. Bryant proudly served in the United States Army. He had received his bachelor’s degree and was currently working toward his master’s degree in social work at Western Kentucky University.

Among those who preceded him in death are, his brother, Ed Bryant, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Teresa Copher  Bryant; his sons, James Hanshaw, Johnny Hanshaw and Alex Anderson; his stepchildren, Robert Copher and Santana Mattingly (Brandon); his granddaughters, Isabella Hanshaw, Peyton Hicks and Lexzy Hanshaw; his grandsons, Owen and Brayden Mattingly and Drew and Kadin Hanshaw; his brothers, Kenny and Tim Bryant; his sisters, Evelyn Clark (Doug), Michelle White (Bob) and Eva Young; his nephew and niece, Tim Bob and Pumpkin Bryant who supported him in the hospital the entire time; and a host of other nieces, nephews and dear family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Potter’s Hope at the Bridge Church (34 Webb Mill Rd., Eastview, KY).
