

John Hugh Hagan, age 79, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 3, 2018. He was born in Fountain Run, KY on October 6, 1939 to the late John J. and Huey Pearl (Clay) Hagan. John was a graduate of Tennessee Tech and retired from Cardinal Integrated Systems in 2016 after 24 years of service. John was a Material Handling Installation Manager who worked closely with UPS. He will be remembered as a hardworking man with a big heart and a passion for life. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a Nascar fan, loved his sweets and was most proud to be called Granddaddy by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. John never met a stranger and was always there for everyone. He will be missed but not forgotten.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister in law, Carolyn Hagan.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 26 years, Katherine Louise (Galloway) Hagan; his sons, John Comer Hagan (Tonya), James Hagan (Robin); grandchildren, Jacob and Noah Hagan, Autumn Young (Jeff), Gavin Hodges (Brandon), MaKeala-Jay Hagan; great-grandchildren, Zennith Adams, Emrie Hugh Hagan, Henley Hodges; brother, Richard Hagan and a host of loving family and friends.
Prayer service will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Brooks Rd at Preston Hwy) with burial in Fountain Run Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
