Joseph Fred Cecil

Mr. Cecil was born November 7, 1938 in Nelson County, Kentucky the late Robert A. and Anna Marie Woods Cecil. He was a United States Army veteran and a retiree of Ford Motor Company.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his wife, Betty Cecil; parents and brothers, Albert, Marvin and Charles Cecil.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Karen Foster (Garry); son, Joe Cecil (Linda); four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers, Leroy, Sam, Bob, Tommy and Buddy Cecil; sisters, Sister Marie Carol Cecil and Jean French and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd., use John Harper entrance) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Saturday at Schoppenhorst.
