Joseph Errol Crouch, Sr.

Joseph Errol Crouch, Sr., age 84, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 31, 2023.   He was born in Campbellsville, KY on November 20, 1938, to the late Joseph Crouch and Lois Hovious Crouch.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Jo Ellen Thurman Crouch, having united in marriage on April 25, 1964; great granddaughter, Presley Waldridge.

He had retired after 40 years of service from LG&E as an electrical engineer.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Julie Waldridge (Tim) and Jennifer Hitt; son, Jospeh Errol Crouch, Jr.; grandchildren, Nathan Waldridge (Samantha), Jacob Waldridge (Amanda); Justin Baxter (Sam), Morgan Rice (Shelby), Shawn Crouch, Capria Crouch (Chris), Jessica Hitt (Tyler) and Natalie Hitt; great grandchildren, Addie, Kaysen and Emory; best friend, “Skyla” and a host of other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1 pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 4 pm until 8 pm and on Tuesday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
