

Joshua was very creative and artistic and well known throughout the community for his many charitable contributions. He was a board member of Drag Queen Story Time Kentucky, a former board member of Pigeon Roost, a volunteer for Camp Buckwood raising money for Mother’s Cubbard Organization, Kentuckiana Pride Festival and Louisville Pride Foundation. He and Julian made masks and PPE for the House of Ruth during Covid-19 pandemic. He was crowned Miss. Kentuckiana Pride Festival in 2022. Joshua was a “Jack of all trades, a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.”
He is preceded in death by his brother, Steven L. Crowe; his grandparents, George and Louise Crowe; his grandfather, William “Bill” H. Harrison Sr.; his nephew, Landon W. Wright-Crowe and his uncles, Jimmy Crowe, Dennis Crowe, Larry, Gerry and Terry Kirby.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Steven D. and Debbie Crowe; his loving partner, Julian Adam; his gay dads, Brian Wilson and Valtcho Tonov; his sister, LeeAnn M. Harrison (Mike); his grandparents, Norman and Thelma McPherson; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and chosen family.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 30, 2021 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment to follow in Mount Washington Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Tuesday from 9 am until the time of service at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life will be 8 pm Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Play Dance Bar 1101 East Washington Street, Louisville.
