Joy Ann Durall

Mrs. Joy Ann Durall, age 92, of Okolona, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Mrs. Durall was born in Louisville, KY on March 25, 1931 to the late Fuller and Stella Williams. She retired as a teacher’s assistant for Jefferson County Public Schools and she was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Perry O’ Neil Durall; brother, Louis Williams; sister, Marie Williams; son-in-law, Tim Hargis and daughter-in-law, Kim Durall preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Larry Durall (Karen), Louis Durall (Christine), Jerry Durall, Jeffrey Durall and Ann Hargis; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
