Juanita Burke, age 82, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, October 17, 2025, with loving family by her side. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 13, 1943. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Doreen Zimmerman (Keith); son, Duane Burke; grandchildren, Nicholas Zimmerman (Haley) and Amanda Dalton (Justin); great-granddaughter, Aria Zimmerman as well as a host of other family and friends.
Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) is in charge of arrangements where the family will honor Ms. Burke’s wishes for cremation.
