Karen Jackson Cash

Mrs. Karen Jackson Cash, age 63 of Hillview, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Mrs. Cash was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 28, 1954 to the late Everett Paul Jackson Jr. and Helen Wofford. She was a retired Legal Executive Secretary for Ivan Schell, and a member of Brooks Baptist Church. Mrs. Cash lived a life of service to her Heavenly Father in every area where she was needed, from teaching Sunday school, to playing the piano.  Her passions were the Lord Jesus Christ, her family, and music.  Mrs. Cash and her twin sister started to take piano lessons at the young age of 10 years old and music remained a very large part of her existence throughout the rest of her life. She loved her family dearly, and she will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege to know her.

Among those preceding her in death include her parents, Everett Paul Jackson Jr. and Helen Wofford, and her grandparents, Everett Paul Sr. and Therissa Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of almost 30 years, Roger Cash; children, Jennifer Givans and Michael Givans; grandchildren, Michael and Meredith Colvin; brothers and sisters, Sharon Orr (Mike), Jeannie Shelburne (Denny), Eddie Jackson (Teena), Billy Jo Crady (Kevin), Dewey Wofford and Jay Wofford (Yvonne); 1 aunt, Laverne Gibson; 1 cousin, Lynne Boyer; 10 nieces and nephews; 8 great nieces and nephews; and a whole host of other family and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday April 21, 2018 at 11:00 am at Brooks Baptist Church, 3837 Coral Ridge Rd., Brooks Kentucky
