Kendra Elaine Cox

Ms. Kendra Elaine Cox, age 21, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on September 10, 2021. She was born on October 20, 1999, to Morris Cox and the late Tanya Elaine Helson in Louisville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her mother Tanya Helson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Brayden Hammond; daughter, Brenleigh Hammond; father, Morris Cox (Pat); grandmother, Geneva Mahoney; brother, Justin Mullins (Ashley), along with three nieces; brother, Tyler Cox; a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends; and a lifelong best friend, Morgan Gentry.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood, and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial to follow in Lone Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, from 1:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service at 2:00pm.
