Kenneth Ray Porter

Mr. Porter was born April 24, 1926 in Louisville, was a United States Navy veteran who served during World War II. He previously worked for American Standard and was a member of First Baptist Church in Leesburg, Florida.

Among those who preceded her in death include his wife, Norma Gilpin Porter and parents, Gabriel and Emma Williams Porter.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Patti Porter, Cheryl Harrison (Herman), Gary Porter (Mary) and Rebecca Crosby; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Preston Highway Schoppenhorst with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of Mr. Porter.
