Kenneth Matthew Williamson

Mr. Kenneth Matthew Williamson, age 46, of Brooks, Kentucky, entered eternal life on Sunday, May 6, 2018 after a hard fought and courageous battle. Matthew was known for his love of music and animals and for his outgoing personality.  He had many talents including gardening, playing stringed instruments and making friends easily. Before his illness he had worked as a carpenter and roofer I the Louisville and Bullitt County area.

Matt was preceded in death by his father, Ken Williamson, who will undoubtedly welcome him and his talents as they harmonize and play together once again.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Linda Wimpsett Williamson, who provided loving care and unwavering support for him during his arduous journey home. He is also survived by one brother Trevor (Rebecca) Williamson, niece, Ella Rose Williamson, and nephew, Trevor Williamson.  His memory will be cherished by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and fellow music makers and he will be sorely missed by his faithful canine companions, Honey, Loueeze, and Regis.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery (Nelson County, KY).  Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
