

Kevin Lee Tucker, 54, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away at his home on July 2, 2026. Born on October 30, 1971, in Louisville, Kentucky. Kevin was the son of Beatrice Powers and the late Wayne Tucker.
Kevin worked for many years as an electrician. He took great pride in his work and relationships he built along the way.
A devoted fan of the Louisville Cardinals, he rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite team. Whether watching a game with family and friends or discussing the latest season, his Cardinal pride was unmistakable.
Known for his quirky sense of humor, Kevin had a unique way of making people smile. His quick wit and playful personality brought joy to countless gatherings and left lasting memories for everyone who knew him.
Above all, he had an extraordinary love for dogs. They were never just pets to him-they were cherished companions who received endless affection, care, and loyalty, just as he gave to the people he loved.
Kevin will be remembered for his kind heart, hardworking spirit, infectious humor, and unwavering love for his family, friends, and faithful four-legged companions. His memory will continue to live on in the stories shared, the laughter he inspired, and the love he gave so freely.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Tucker.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Aubrey Hood; grandchildren, Noah and Stevie Johns and Skarlett and Leon Nair; his mother, Beatrice Powers; siblings, Randy (Tonya) Tucker, Jeff Tucker, Rickey (Tammy) Tucker, and Lori Tucker; two beloved dogs; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday, July 11, at 1:00 pm at Hardy Close Funeral Home, with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
