Lana Rae Decker

Mrs. Decker was born August 2, 1950 in Cox's Creek, KY and was a great wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She retired from Ford Motor Company and was a former employee of American Standard. Mrs. Decker was an active member of Shepherdsville Weselyan Church, a hunter education instructor for the Department of Fish and Wildlife and a volunteer for the 4-H program in Bullitt County.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her father, Jesse P. Ashbaugh and brothers, Gale and Anthony Ashbaugh.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 30 years, Al Decker; children, Angela Decker and Veronica Lee (Chris); grandchildren, Ethan Decker and Christopher Lee, Jr.; mother, LaVerne Ashbaugh; sister, Connie Riggs; brothers, Steve (Robin), John (Brenda), Jesse, Jr. (Barbara), Tom (Robin), Joe (Bobi), Terry (Becky) and Fonda (Karen) and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery.

Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to American Red Cross.
