Larry Dale Krueger

Mr. Larry Dale Krueger, age 86, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, March 22, 2024. He was born on January 25, 1938, to the late Ferdinand “Fred” Otto and Mildred Elizabeth (Likes) Krueger in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Mr. Krueger worked as a regional manager for a property management company. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served for 3 years. Mr. Krueger was preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings.

Larry was a man who loved life and always had a joke for anyone. He loved his family first and foremost and lived by the philosophy, there was always room for one more. If you knew Larry, you knew that he loved without bounds. He was an avid golfer and loved horses. He enjoyed watching his old cowboy shows that featured John Wayne, and Yellowstone. Other shows he enjoyed watching included: NCIS and American Pickers. Larry loved watching sports where his favorite teams were the Pacers and the Colts. He enjoyed listening to country music without having an artist preference. Larry will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 28, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
