Larry Ray McGuire

Mr. Larry Ray McGuire, age 63, of Cox’s Creek, returned to his Heavenly Father on October 31, 2018. Mr. McGuire was born in Louisville, KY on April 13, 1955 to the late John and Virginia McGuire. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints in the Bardstown Branch but was a longtime member of the Louisville 1st Ward. He served in many positions of responsibility to build his Father’s kingdom including, clerk, executive secretary, Elder’s Quorum President and Sunday School Teacher. He loved to spend time with his family, enjoyed film, television and travel.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Donna McDaniels (Nolan); his brother, Ricky McGuire (Debra); his nieces and nephews, Craig Mulhall, April Patterson, Keith Mulhall, Jennifer Forcht, Eric McGuire and Sara Guinn; several great- nieces and nephews; his dear friends and a host of other family.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 3, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
