Among those who preceded her in death include, her husband, Delbert "Joe" Edwards; granddaughter, Shawna Marcum; parents, John and Lillie McGaha and brothers, Arnold and Cliff McGaha.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her five children, Steven "Doc" Edwards (Janice), Sondra "Sandy" Nelson (Ron), Susan Montgomery (Ron), Sheila Davis (Jay) and Ray Edwards (Edna); 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 4 great- great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren whom she loved as her own; sister, Elizabeth Freibert and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at Noon on Monday, August 26, 2013 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with internment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1:00pm until 8:00pm and on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
