Lawrence "Larry" Atlee Browning

Mr. Lawrence “Larry” Atlee Browning, age 75, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on December 16, 2022. Mr. Browning was born on March 20, 1947, in Louisville, KY to the late Harry C. and Dorothy (Bertholomey) Browning. Mr. Browning was a self-employed painter and a member of the Iroquois Golf Course Men’s Club. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents, son, Thomas Stewart; and brothers, Charlie, Wayne, Donald “Red”, and Bobby Browning.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 28 years, Marilyn (Young) Browning; children, Eric Browning (Melanie), Amber Nelson (John), Katrina LaFavers (Herb), Theresea Stewart, and Kevin Stewart; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Davey Browning (Robin); sister, Wendy Earle (Teddy); uncle, Bryan Browning; daughter-in-law, Gloria Stewart; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 7 pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with cremation to follow.
