Leonard "Lenny" Rodgers

   Leonard “Lenny” David Rodgers, age 60 of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to our Heavenly Father on Monday, March 6, 2023. He retired from Ford Motor Company after more than 20 years of service. He loved music and was an avid concert goer. If he wasn’t listening to music or playing his guitar, you could find him out in the yard gardening, or boating. He was a simple man who was proud of his family and loved them very much.

   He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife of 20 years, Debbie Rodgers; children, Amanda (Kyle), Olivia, Holly (Chris), Jamie and Shaun; grandchildren, Michaela, Corbin, Anberlin, Arlo, Lucy, Pippa, Blakely, Riley (Annie), Tate, Eli, Carissa (Dominick), Samuel and Emma; parents, Bruce and Pat Rodgers; siblings, Angie (Kenny), Jimmy (Jennifer) and Billy (Tiffany); fur-baby, Layla and a host of other family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 12 pm in the chapel at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy. in Shepherdsville) with burial in Mt. Holly Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 1 pm  until 8 pm and on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 9 am until time of service at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home.
