Lester "Paul" Stepp

   Lester “Paul” Stepp, age 66 of Okolona, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 21, 2023. He was born October 13, 1956, to the late Hattie and Lance Vanover, Sr. Lester was a veteran of the United States Army. He spent time at the Amvets Post #61 in Louisville as well as different VA posts.  

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lance Vanover, Jr. and his sister-in-law, Phyllis Stepp.

   He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Christopher Stepp; daughter, Melissa Melton; grandchildren, Serena Skye (Andrew), Codey David, Kayla Raine, Sean Michael and Isaac Paul; great-grandchildren, Jayla Marie, Addison Danielle and Jazlynn Mae; brothers, Charles Stepp, Dennis Vanover and Raymond Conrad and a host of other family and friends.

    A Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 1 pm until 8 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy. in Shepherdsville).
