Linda Louise Parks

Mrs. Linda Louise (Smith) Parks, age 70, of Caneyville returned to her Heavenly Father on December 6, 2019. Mrs. Parks was born on June 29, 1949 in Louisville, KY to the late Joseph Henry Smith and Mary Ruth (Cabler) Smith Dodge. Mrs. Parks was a homemaker and a member of St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; husband, Hayward Parks, Jr.; son, Joe Parks; and siblings, Frances Hickman, Larry Smith and Carol Dean Maynard.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Bradley Parks; three grandchildren; siblings, James “Butch” Smith, Michael Smith (Nell), Rebecca Smith, John Smith (Darlene), Cindy Britain (Ernie), Janet Hockman (Michael), Elizabeth Lamkin and Cathy Hickman; and a life friend, John Geary.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 2-8 pm and Sunday from 1 pm until      time of service at the funeral home. Family video on www.subfuneralhome.com
