Mack Gregory "Greg" Poole, Sr.

Mr. Mack Gregory (Greg) Poole, Sr., age 61, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 17, 2022. He was born on July 21, 1960 to Mack E. Poole, Jr. and the late Nancy Blair Poole in Louisville, Kentucky. He worked as a supervisor at BAX for many years. He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Poole; grandfather, Mack Edward Poole, Sr.; grandmother, LaVerne Poole; and mother and father-in-law, Barbara and Carl Werkmeister.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 42 glorious years, Sandy Poole; sons, Mickey Poole (Allison), Josh Poole (Brittany); daughter, Shelly Burton; father, Mack E. Poole, Jr. (Marilyn); brother, Jeff Poole (Mary); sister, Pam Thornsberry; grandchildren, Kaila, Nolan, Clayton, Mason, Brinley; great grandson, Brody; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10:00am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 11:00am until 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday from 9:00am until time of service at 10:00am.
