Margaret Etta Hodges

Mrs. Hodges was born September 30, 1923 in Louisville to the late Henry and Rosie Elzy Fisher and was a member of Mt. Eden Baptist Church.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her husband, Thomas H. Hodges; parents; brother, Charles Fisher and sisters, Rachel Cook, Catherine Napper and Dorothy Brewer.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Bonnie Samuels (Charles), Donna Dockery (Ralph), Rose Ann Dixon, Marilyn Pryor, Raymond Hodges (Cathy), Rickie Hodges (Lisa), Kathy Kendall (Arlie) and Janie Cook (Jackie); 23 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 17 great- great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Coy and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at noon on Friday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Mt. Eden Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst.
