Margaret Loraine Kenney

Mrs. Margaret Loraine Kenney, age 73 of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 19, 2022. She was born on Tuesday, March 30, 1948, to the late Earl and Peggy Mills. She was a Catholic by faith, a Kentucky Colonel and the President of Resident Board in Assistant Living. She enjoyed growing irises and time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Roger Kenney and her sister, Susan Langdon.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Stephen Kenney (Lori) and Elaina Dunaway (Tim); her stepson, Joseph Roger Kenney (Ashley); her siblings, Kevin Mills (Darri) and Rebecca Holman (Jason); 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.  

Funeral service will be 12pm Thursday, March 24, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home 4895 N. Preston Highway Shepherdsville with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Visitations will be on Wednesday 3pm until 8 pm and on Thursday 10am until time of service.
