Margie Theresa Able

Mrs. Margie Theresa Able, age 90, of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on September 23, 2024. Mrs. Able was born on January 26, 1934, in Louisville, Ky to the late Benjamin Bland and Minnie (Van Cleave) Dowell. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents, husband, Hugh William Able, Jr.; and son, Eric Able. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Angela Able (Jenny), Tom Able (Carol), Gina Able, and Daniel Able (Amber); grandchildren, Meagan (Zack), Hannah, Emma, Joshua, Hadley, and Ren; and great-grandchildren, Reagan, Judson, Lillian, and Nathaniel.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in St. Andrew Cemetery.
