Martha Jean Hardin

Mrs. Martha Jean Hardin, age 91, of Bardstown returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.  Mrs. Hardin was born on July 25, 1928 in Shelbyville, KY. She was a member of the Apostolic Church of Restoration in Shepherdsville, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Amanda Jones; husband, Everett R. Hardin; daughter, Patricia Ann Herron; brothers, Buck Jones, Don Jones, Bill Jones, Pete Jones and Tommy Jones; sisters, Thelma Barnett and Alice Nichols.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Walter Ray Hardin, Sr. and Everett Lee Hardin; 6 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Sonny Jones (Beverly) of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Shirley Young of Glasgow, KY and Mary Woods of Indiana, PA.

Funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 11, 2020 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 2pm until 8pm at the funeral home. www.subfuneralhome.com
