Marvin Lee Harris

Marvin Lee Harris Sr. age 73 of Shepherdsville was born October 24, 1941 to the late Johnny Sr. and Stella L. Biggers Harris and returned to his Heavenly Father June 2, 2015. Mr. Harris was a sod layer.

Among those who preceded him in death include his former wife, Lillian Hester Harris; sister, Debbie Dowell; brothers, Ernie, Darrel, Larry, Jerry, Johnny Harris Jr. and his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Carol Savage, Tresa Wheet (Bart) and Lisa Wheeler (Frank); son, Jason Harris (Sarah); sisters, Delorse Hunt, Janie Aldridge (Monty), Rosie Hester (Clyde), Lilly Jessie (Bub), Dottie Moore (James) and Mary Harris; brothers, James, Mike and Terry Harris; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 7 P.M. Thursday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (Highway 44 East at Winning Colors Drive) with interment at 10 A.M. Friday in Penn Run Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects from 4:30 P.M. until 7 P.M. Thursday at Schoppenhorst.
