Mary Ann Thompson Kaiser

Mrs. Mary Ann Thompson Kaiser, age 77, of Okolona, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Mrs. Kaiser was a member of the Catholic Deaf Society and Louisville Deaf Senior Citizens, she participated in the Deaf Special Olympics, was a Kentucky Colonel and a Eucharistic Minister for the Deaf.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her husband, Franklin D. Kaiser; sister, Catherine Hardy and parents, William Harold and Catherine Cecilia Thompson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Robert Kaiser (Lynn) and Karen Moore (Danny); grandchildren, Rob Kaiser (Sarah), Kristie Beaven, Tiffany Baxter and Daren Moore; great grandchildren, Jackson Kaiser, Noah Kaiser, Sawyer Beaven, and Bella Mae Moore; brother, Lawrence Thompson (Sue) and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and many of special friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at St. Rita Catholic Church with interment in Resthaven Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am until 9:30 am at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.).
