Mary Lloyd Jones

Mrs. Mary Lloyd Jones, age 85, of Mt. Washington, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 13, 2016. Mrs. Jones was originally from Pineville, Kentucky, she was a homemaker, and a member of Radiant Life Church of God.

Among those who preceded her in death include; parents, Charles and Janie Bailey; brothers, Lee Bailey and Chittle Vaughn, and sister, Suzy Brummett.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Garfield Lawson, Everett Lawson (Jeannie), and Elizabeth Staples; 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren; sisters, Cleo Vaughn and Evelyn Converse.

Funeral service will be conducted 6:30 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.

Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
