Mary Lucille Shibley

Mrs. Mary Shibley, age 89, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on October 25, 2025. Mary was born in Loretto, Kentucky, on September 12, 1936, to the late Cyril and Agnes Bickett. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother to her family. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed taking care of her flowers and spending quality time with her family. 

Among those who preceded her in death are her husband, Richard Shibley; parents; and siblings, Dorothy Bard, Pauline Mattingly and Joseph Bickett. She leaves to cherish her children, Lisa Robertson (James) and Tim Shibley (Sheila); grandchildren, Emily Robertson and Kaye Robertson; nephew, Jerry Bard; and a host of other dear family and friends. 

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1st, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home- Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Dr.) with burial to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Cemetery in Loretto Kentucky. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday, October 31st, 2025, from 2p.m. until 8p.m. and on Saturday from 9a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
