After moving to Okolona as a young girl, she grew up in a loving family and later married the love of her life, Sherman L. Adams, on February 12, 1955. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised a devoted family.

Maureen enjoyed an active and fulfilling life. She loved bowling with friends in league play, proudly achieving a high score of 200. She also enjoyed square dancing, where she formed many lasting friendships and shared countless joyful memories with her favorite dance partner, Mel Bailey.
Above all else, Maureen treasured her family. Affectionately known as “Momo,” she shared her love, wisdom, and warmth not only with her family but with everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her life was a testament to her deep Catholic faith, compassionate spirit, and unwavering devotion to others.
