McDaniel "Dan" Preston Roberson

Mr. McDaniel “Dan” Preston Roberson, age 61, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 3, 2017. Mr. Roberson was an avid U of L fan, he loved bald eagles, Budweiser, Jim Beam and gathering with family and friends.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, Andrew Preston Roberson and Barbara Fox; sister, Melody Roberson; brothers, Mike Stout and Mark Kiser.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his niece, Crystal Stratton (John); nephew, Matt Estes (Rose) and a host of many nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday from 3:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Evergreen Cemetery in the Lily Lot. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the funeral home.

Mr. Roberson’s family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Norton Cancer Institute, Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Option Care and all those who have made contributions to the family.
