Michael E. Duvall

Mr. Michael E. Duvall, age 67, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 24, 2014. Mr. Duvall was Catholic by faith and he retired from L & N Railroad after 30 years of service.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his wife, Geraldine Duvall; parents, Laymon and Mary Duvall and sister, Gail Duvall.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Michael Lee Duvall (Therese), Shawn Duvall (Mike), Starr Duvall and Kelly Tyre; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers, Randy Duvall (Kay) and Dale Duvall (Teri); sister, Alice Aldridge (Jim) and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.; use John Harper entrance) with interment in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Schoppenhorst. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Kosair Children's Hospital.
