Michael E Hale

Mr. Michael E. Hale 76, of Louisville KY returned to his Heavenly Father on October 18, 2018 after a battle with cancer. He was born in Louisville on August 18, 1942 to the late Clyde and Betty Hale. Mike was retired from Caldwell Tanks and was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church, Kosair Shriners, Scottish Rites and Past Master of Plumb Lodge. He loved to play golf and take his dog, Myla to the park.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty Jean Gaus, Geraldine Logsdon; and a brother Joe Hale.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 56 years, Nancy (Wethington) Hale; children, Kim Brown, Susan Rein (Boone), Kristen Hale; grandchildren, Josh, Justin (Jocelyn), Jared, Heather, Sam, Casie, Adam, Anthony; great grandchildren, Jordan, Josephine, Ashley, Kylie, Aubrey; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved dog Myla.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 10:00 am till time of service at the Funeral Home.
