Michael Lester Pryor

Mr. Michael Lester Pryor, age 62, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. Mr. Pryor was born in Louisville, KY on August 22, 1962 to the late Patricia Jones Pryor. He was a member of Nelson Chrisitan Church and passionate about his 40-year career with RAM Engineering. He was proud to be Pops to his four grandchildren, enjoyed grilling and being outside on the water.

In addition to his mother, his father-in-law, Billy Doyle and grandparents, Charles Lester Jones and Mabel Jones preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 40 years, Karen Doyle Pryor; children, Ethan Michael Pryor (Kaitlin) and Erin Pryor Pittard (Joel); grandchildren, Fenley, Piper, Waylon and Kendall; siblings, Linda Pryor (Marvin Saylor), Chris Pryor (Cheri) and Michele Stephens; sister-in-law, Debbie Watson; brothers-in-law, Mike, Greg and Steve (Ginger); stepmother-in-law, Joanna Doyle; good friend, Gordon Henon and a host of other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 3, 2025 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 9:00 am until the time of his service at 10:00 am at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Norton Cancer Institute, the caring staff at Norton Audubon Hospital and to Melissa Witt, APRN for her attentive and loving care.
