Michael Ray Sherley "Allen"

Michael Ray Sherley “Allen”, age 35, of Fairdale, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 7, 2024.  He was born on June 23, 1988, in Louisville, KY to Joseph Michael Sherley (D.D. Mills) and Treasa June Allen Sherley.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James W. Sherley, Susie Allen and Kenneth Allen; uncles, James L. Sherley and Donald L. Sherley; cousins, Branden Sherley and Donald Sherley, Jr.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, Emilie Allen, sons, Michael James Allen, Clayton Allen and Dean Allen; sister, Bobbiesue Vanmeter (Joseph); grandparents, Rosalie Eddington and Richard Gaither; uncles, Kendall Allen and Ken Sherley; aunts, Donna Sherley and Rita Logsdon, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment to follow in Brookland Cemetery.  Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 1-8 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
