Mitchell "Mitch" Thomas Taylor

Mr. Mitchell Thomas Taylor, age 63, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 2, 2021.  Mr. Taylor was born on November 14, 1957 to the late Harry and Rudale (Riggs) Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents and brother, Billy French.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Carole (Webb) Taylor; daughter, Whitney Vanmeter (Chris); stepchildren, Roy Brown (Michele), Terri Osbourne (Greg) and Deanna Valdivia; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; niece, Tammy Cobble (Rob); and nephew, Joshua French.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 12 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment to follow at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens (3817 Leitchfield Rd. Cecilia, Ky 42724). Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Thursday from 9 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
