Nell Laverne Hall

Nell Laverne Hall, age 80, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025. She was born in Louisville, Ky on May 25, 1944, to the late Lee Baumgardner and Ethel Mae “Ryan” Baumgardner. She was raised in Lebanon Junction and reside on a farm owned by her and her husband in Bullitt County.  Nell was a bus driver for Bullitt County Board of Education and a member of Lebanon Junction Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Shirley Hall; one sister and three brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Robert Hall; special niece, Pam Baumgardner and other nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Monday 10 a.m. until time of service. Expression of sympathy may be made to charity of your choice.
