Norman Bruce Shaw

Mr. Norman "Bruce" Shaw, Sr., age 70, of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on December 21, 2016. Mr. Shaw retired from CSX Railroad and was a mason with Masonic Lodge #155. He was a die-hard University of Kentucky fan and loved listening to Elvis. He lived for and loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandson, and his devoted dog, Jake. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Carl and Claudia Hodge Shaw; and brothers, Carl Shaw, Jr. and William Shaw. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Tammy Hurt (Len), Trina Hans (Mark) and Norman "Buddy" Shaw, Jr. (Stacy); grandchildren, Brandon, Nicholas, Emily, Jeremy and Tara; great-grandson, Atticus; and extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6 pm on Friday, December 30, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). A masonic service will be held 30 minutes prior to the memorial service. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 2 pm until time of the service at the funeral home.
