Oran Thomas Logsdon

Mr. Oran Thomas Logsdon, 81, of Okolona, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Mr. Logsdon was born on August 20, 1937 in Louisville. He retired from Capitol Holding after 26 years of service. Among those that preceded him in death are his parents; son, Oran Thomas Logsdon, Jr.; daughter, Ruth Ann Logsdon; and brother, Jimmy Logsdon.

 He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 56 years, Nettie “Ruth” (Young) Logsdon; children, Barbara Logsdon, Vickie Breen (Todd) and Bobby Logsdon (Shannon); granddaughters, Jennifer Tucker (Ryan) and Nina Logsdon; 4 great grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.

 Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Friday, August 23, 2019 in chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, from 2 pm until 8 pm and on Friday from 9 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
