Patty M. Dockery

Patty Morene Dockery, age 67, of Hillview, Kentucky, passed away on August 2, 2026. She was born on June 4, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, and lived a life marked by devotion, kindness, and a deep love for the people who surrounded her.

Patty was a woman who treasured her family above all else. She especially loved her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she found great joy in the everyday moments shared with those she loved. Her life was centered on family, and she gave her heart freely to the people who meant the most to her.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Billie “Joe” Dockery; her son, Eric Coy and his wife, Ashley; her granddaughter, Brianna; her great-granddaughter, Oakley; her brother, David Goodin and his wife, Lisa; her sister, Penny Chapman and her husband, Keven; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Patty’s family was a source of great pride and happiness for her, and she leaves behind many cherished memories that will continue to bring comfort to those who loved her.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Fessor Goodin and Eleanor Napper, and her brother, Richard Goodin. Though her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of her loved ones, her memory will remain a lasting source of strength and love for all who were blessed to know her.

A visitation will be held at Hardy-Close Funeral Home 285 S. Buckman Street Shepherdsville, Kentucky 40165 on Monday, August 10, 2026 from 3pm to 8pm. A funeral service will take place the following morning on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 10am.
