

Paul Everett Elble, age 78, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on November 8, 2020. Paul was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 14th, 1942 to the late Charles R. Elble, and Mary B. Gildhaus. Paul retired from CSX Railroad as the Electrical maintenance supervisor for 34 years; he was in the first graduating class of DeSales High School, class of 1960. He was a avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt, fish, and be with friends and family. Its been said that Paul was one of the greatest story tellers ever.
Among those that preceded him in death are his brother George Elble.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 58 years Joyce “Jones” Elble; his sons Anthony Paul Elble; Michael Todd Elble (Karen) daughter, Teresa Ater (Alan); grandchildren Chris Elble; Austin Elble (Chendra); Jordan, Cory, and Mackenzie Ater; great grandchildren C.J., Kaden, Fronz, Bennett, and Ensley; brothers; Dan Elble (Ginger); Robert Elble (Tina); P.J. Elble (Karen); sisters, Mary Hale; Margaret Shultz; Ellen Elble; along with numerous cousins; nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday November 20th, 2020, at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Highway, Brooks Ky). Family and Friends may pay their respects from 2:00pm until 8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00p.m. in the Chapel that evening. The following day a Funeral service will be conducted at 3:30pm on Saturday, November 21, 2020 in London, Ky at Swiss Colony Baptist Church with burial to follow in Swiss Colony Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the Church from 2:00pm until 4:00pm.
